The taskbar is double-height when set to autohide

I didn't get this issue on my old Ace laptop, but now that I have switched to a Lenovo (I think the same settings), it is double the height, which really gets in the way of selecting things at the bottom of the screen if it pops up. If I try to set the taskbar size to a different value it says I can't because autohide won't allow it. If I click on restart explorer it looks fine for a few seconds and then pops back to double height again. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still happen, we need more information.

  1. Windows full version number and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these number.
  2. Start11 version number.

Thank you,

Thank you for the reply.
I realized that I was using the autohide in Windows when I should have had that disabled and used the autohide inside Start 11. Once I did that and went through a few more options to get it set up the way I wanted it was even better. Not only was the taskbar not too high, but I could shrink it further by making the icons smaller. Super happy with it now.

It was a bit buggy when I first turned on the "Enhanced Taskbar Settings" as many of the options were missing until I rebooted, but once it was activated and restarted all the options worked great.

Love the app btw! Makes Windows feel 100 times better!
