Windows 10 start menu shortcut issues

I'm using start11's Windows 10 start menu in Windows 11. The default shortcuts (such as documents, videos, ect) go to library folders, instead of the actual C drive folders. I tried to see if there's a way to change the target locations of these shortcuts, but start11 doesn't appear to support this.

I then made my own custom shortcuts using Segoe Fluent icons and Character Map UWP. However, there is no longer a shortcut comment when hovering over the icons.

Is there a way to change the comment for custom shortcuts?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But not sure why you need to do this.

When you can simply add custom location within Start11 itself.
