Start1 v2 no longer working.

I've been using Start11 v1 and then v2 for a couple years or so. Anyway, a couple of months ago I ran across an article about Windhawk so I had to at least check it out. I uninstalled Start11 temporarily and installed Windhawk. It was OK, but nothing to jump up and down about, not right out of the box / minimal customization at least. 

So I uninstalled Windhawk and reinstalled Start11v2, but wouldn't work. Since then, I have uninstalled several times, reset all the settings to default, uninstalled / reinstalled right after, installed the beta version, etc. etc. I'm a software developer so I know how to troubleshoot. 

Anyway, wondering if anyone else has run into this? What can I check? It it making changes to a windows dll / registry entries? Thought I'd ask before I waste a bunch of time digging. I really like Start11 and need it back. Thanks!

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few more things.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Start11v2 full version number you installed.
  3. What don't work? Start11 Configuration Windows won't open? Start menu don't change? Please elaborate.

          [j2o] - Start Menu does not change at all, I've toggled every switch I could find, combinations I could think of, etc. I took some screenshots, but I don't see a link to upload any here. I can upload them elsewhere and link later if you need them. or a quick youtube video. 

      It may help to mention that the neither the custom taskbar nor the start button custom image work either. Thanks.

Have you ever used something called ExplorerPatcher?
