Can't Upgrade Start11 v2.11 Antivirus Blocks irsetup

I currently have Start11 v2.11 installed.  It says that there is an update available, but when I try to do the update I get an error message:

AppData\Local\Temp\_ir_sf_temp_0\irsetup.exe

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

 

I have Admin privileges on this machine, but our company's Cylance Project antivirus software blocks the irsetup.exe file and they will not allow it to go through.  What are my options to update now and in the future?  I was able to install the initial version with no issues, but can't update.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try to download installer directly from here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it and report back if you still have issue.

Thank you for the reply.  I downloaded the installer from the link you provided and got the same error as in the original post.

 

Do you have any other ideas on what I could do?

Have you tried the setting your antivirus to whitelist this specific file? I googled it and find a few suggestions to do it. [Link]
