START11 VERSION 2.51 occasionally does not start up during bootup

Hello, I have noticed for the last 4 months or so, that my Start11 version 2.51, "occasionally" does not startup during the PC boot up process.  I will notice that after the PC is done booting up and is ready to go, that there is NO Start button in the lower left corner OR no icons for the programs in the center of the lower taskbar area.

The only way I can get this to work right, is to "cntl-alt-delete", to bring up the restart button.  After the pc restarts, everything is working fine again with Start11.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem.  I have never experienced this problem since I started using Start11, years ago.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you, but one additional question for you.  Can I "import" my last backup of Start11 after doing everything you explained, so I do not have to start from scratch with the settings.  Thank you again.

Uninstall and reinstalled should not effect your setting unless you choose to remove setting while uninstalling. But, to be sure, you can use Start11v2 Settings backup feature. An update, as of today, 021325, during the bootup phase of my PC, this morning, my START11 did not start up properly again. There was no task bar or Start button that appeared.  This is the first time since my last reply.  I had to reboot to fix. Thank you.

If the issue happen again instead of restart pc, try restart explorer.exe and see if that also help. How to restart explorer: https://www.howtogeek.com/198815/use-this-secret-trick-to-close-and-restart-explorerexe-in-windows/

Yes, it worked instantaneously. It brought up the lower taskbar, icons, and start button.  So, is this the only current fix for my start11 problem, whenever this "fails to startup" problem happens? Thank you for your assistance, it is helping alot.

That is a workaround. The main issue still there. Look like something else is blocking Start11 from working properly. Would like to suggest trying out Cleanboot: refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#cleanboot. Do note you will need to follow the steps mentioned carefully.
