Start 11 no longer works after a few days

Hey
I installed Start11 2.3 a few days ago and everything worked fine, but as of today it no longer does.
In the Start11 configuration menu under Control everything is set to Start11, all check marks are positive, but when I press the Start button nothing happens. Ive also tried a reinstall of Start11 with no good result. The Start11 services are also running or are set to “running”. Windows is currently on Win11 24H2, current drivers and updates are installed. Apart from Windows Defender, no other virus protection is used. Ive also manually upgraded to 2.51, unfortunately the behavior is exactly the same. I also tried to run Start11 in a sandbox (Sandboxie-Plus) and it did not work. The error message here was that the “RpcSs” service could not be started. Is this service necessary for Start11 even without a sandbox? I am now running out of ideas rigth now

I no longer know where the problem could be.

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Thanks but its the same behavior. I think something blocks necessary Start11 Services.

Are there a list of services wich are necessary or all of  Start11 services that are running and how they must be set up (manually, automatically)?

Taking advantage of the friend's topic. Hello, after a recent update, the taskbar has a problem with misalignment of the icon information on the taskbar. Some work, others don't.

My general advice here is it is best not mess with critical Windows services as doing so can break things.

Have you recently disabled any services?

Also is the Start11_64 process running in taskmanager?

This really needs to be in its own thread as two very different issues.

Need to know what is your Windows 11 OS Build number? You can use Winver.exe. Also, if you on Windows 11 Pro, you can use Windows Sandbox: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#windowssandbox

No, no services were adjusted manually
I assumed that a service that is necessary is not running correctly.

Hey, thanks for your tips.
Ive now completely reinstalled the system and now Start11 seems to work as intended.
Unfortunately, I was unable to determine the actual cause.
If anyone else has similar behavior, I would check the previous steps.
