Start11 v2 ALL pinned apps lost

from Stardock Forums

After a reboot due to a driver installation, I couldn't start ANY programm from the pinned icons.

Right-clicking them worked, so I opened their properties, opened the file path and started some apps before deciding to reboot again.

After that 2nd reboot ALL pinned apps were gone.

 

What to do now?

Is there some file I can import from somewhere in %appdata%?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 v2 full version number installed?
  3. What is the driver installation?
  4. Which Pinned icons? On the taskbar or on the Start panel?

3. As the disappearance happened only after the 2nd reboot, it shouldn't have anything to do with the driver but it's a Steinberg audio driver.

4. Start panel is fine but all taskbar icons were gone.

Taskbar pins are handled by the OS not Start11 so if they are missing then explorer decided to delete them most likely.  

I would repin them.
