Notification Location with Multiple Screens

Hey All,

With the Start11 2.5 beta (although the About page shows 2.49), I'm using 2 regular monitors above a laptop monitor (so three screens total). Notifications are now showing in the middle (more or less) of the upper-right screen, instead of the lower right corner of the laptop screen (which is set as the "main" screen). Also, for context, my 2 regular monitors have the taskbar at their tops and the laptop screen has it at the bottom.

Thanks,

Scott

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details please.

  1. Windows 10/11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Enhance Start11 taskbar turn on or off?
  3. Taskbar autohide turn on or off?
  4. Resolutions and Scale factor (100%, 125% etc) of each monitor.
  5. Screenshot or video showing us the video would help us understand it better.

Thank you.

Sure! See below:

  • Windows 11, 24H2, build 26100.2605
  • Enhanced Taskbar is turned on (let me know if you need the specific settings within it)
  • Taskbar autohide is turned off.
  • Regular monitors resolution is 1920x1080 with a scale of 100%; laptop screen resolution is 2400x1600 with a scale of 150%
  • See screen shot below of the notification on the upper right, regular screen.

Note that this was not happening with the previous, latest, stable version.

Thanks,

Scott

First, please try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall is done, re-download Start11v2.5 beta. Reinstall it, reboot immediately again after the installation done. Retest and report back.

Unfortunately, notifications are still appearing in the middle of the upper right screen.
