start11 v2 does not change the windows start button behavior

I have installed the trial version of start11 v2.11 onto a brand new windows 11 Pro 24H2 system. No other start program modifiers have been installed. The only programs currently installed are Macrium Reflect and Office 365.

The start11 menu showing all programs comes up correctly when the windows key is pressed. However, the regular windows 11 menu appears when the start button is clicked.

I have run the purge . bat file and done a clean install with the same results.

The Control page looks correct, and is below.

I don't know what else to do.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have Windows 11 Pro. Please try testing it in Windows Sandbox. Refer to this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416855562/Testing+Start+in+Sandbox
