Start11 cursor issues with games

On a nearly fresh install of Windows 11 I was having issues with my mouse cursor not locking to games. For example, looking around would cause my mouse to go out of the game window and into my other monitors. After hours of troubleshooting; turns out Start11 was the issue, I'd love for this to get fixed since I enjoyed the software, but it makes some games unplayable. It appeared to be games using Unreal engine and any other game would just have a weird bouncing around effect.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more information.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version number.
  3. Is the issue on any full screen games or Windowed full screen?

Thank you.

That's a most unusual issue.  I don't think we have ever had a similar report before.

Information on what Start11 settings you have enabled would be useful.

Generally clipping the mouse to a monitor is something controlled by the game itself.

I would agree it's normally the game's responsibility to handle that; however, uninstalling Start11 is what fixed it. Here is some additional info:

Windows 24H2 OS Build 26100.2314

Start11 version was 2.11 with the Trial license

I have Fences 5 installed as well, but that is not causing any issues.

I tried a reboot, reinstall, and resetting my settings to default.

Info about settings:

Windows Pro Style

I had turned on the Enhance the taskbar option; however, I turned that off as I also had an issue with the Windows button being moved to the left side of the task bar.

Hello, I also have been having this issue for quite a while now, removing Start11 resolved the issue. I ran into issues across multiple titles; COD, CS, Ready or Not, Civ 6, Satisfactory, with the mouse losing tracking if moving too far to the right, causing my camera or character to only move about 45degrees to the right before just stopping, one of the games actually crashed if the cursor moved too far to the right, Oxygen Not Included, as it would say memory not accessible. All games are always on their latest versions and I only used the release version of Start 11.

1. Windows 11 Version 23H2 OS Build 22631.4602

2. Start 11 Version2.11

3. The issue appears in both Full Screen and Windowed full screen, also throw in Borderless Windowed Full Screen.
