Start11 v3

How to change default browser popup?

Greetings all,   I have Start11 v2.11 on windows 11 pro.  Im using "windows pro style" for my start selection.  My question is when I click "start" then search something in the search bar and directly below the search bar I have option of clicking " search the internet"  When I do Bing pops up,  my default browser is Opera.  Can I change the popup browser to Opera???

Thanks for your responses.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, as far as I know, there is no Start11v3 yet. Where did you get the v3 version from? However need to know more details on your system.

  1. Windows 11 pro full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Start11 full version number.

Thank you.

I think you mean Sart11v2, and I assume you are using the Start11 Search. I am curious to find out the answer to this one. I know that if you use the default Windows 11 Start menu, you are stuck with the Edge browser, but I'm not sure why the Start11 Search doesn't allow the users choice for their default browser.

Stardock receive no kickbacks from Microsoft.

I believe it should open your associated browser and will double check this tomorrow.

You can open your default browser using v2.52 beta.

However it will default to bing as it has to know what to go to.  There is a registry key to switch to Google search but I don't have access to the information right now so will have to update this thread this week.
