Start Menu 2.11 ARM64

Hello.

Thank you for release for ARM64.

I have Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X Elite, Windows 24H2).

Start 11 is much more comfortable than original Windows Menu but performance has questions.

Original Win 11 Menu works immediately after Windows boot and react instantly. It icons and tubs drow immediately. But Start 11 thinking and require some time for ready...

First I used Windows 7 style. When press Start button I saw 2-3 seconds empty field for Program. I tried to close and reopen - behavior is more fast. But if you wait 5 min after Windows boot Start 11 works faster. It's evidently that v 2.11 require some time for cach to work smooth.

Other bug is creating shortcuts of program from Start 11 Menu to Desktop by Right mouse drag. Not all items love this simple task. For examle, creating shortcut of Outlook Classic is simple, but the same with Outlook New does not work.

Now I tried to test Win 10 Style...

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't have ARM base system. But, on x64 base system I do notice that the Start panel need a little bit of time to load those icons specially on the first time opening and it take longer when there are more icons/link to be display on it. But, from what I tested the timing less when opening second times onward. I believe this is how Start11 work, it take time load those icons and custom tiles images.

For the second issue, I don't see issue creating shortcut link on desktop by opening all program list. Right click on apps and drag over to desktop. What error did you see if you tried it on your system?

Thank you.

Thank you.

On ARM64 in 2.11 drag&drop feature really does not work! I tried to drag any program to Desktop for creating shortcut or link - nothing happens. No error. This feature simple does not work. I hope developer read our post.

In adition... No sense to record video, simple to write.

What I done (for example for Windows 7 Style)? Click Start button - click All Programm - choose any item - click an keep right mouse button - drag to Desktop. Nothing happens... That's a pitty... May be some settings of Start 11 or Registry settings block this feature?

If so please advise me, I will very appreciate.

Note: I use Win 11 24H2 on ARM64 system...
