problem with friday start11 update

from Stardock Forums

my wife's dell vostro 3520 updated to start11 v2.1 yesterday (sept 6)---- many black screens; had to use "m" key plus power  to reboot.

winver 23r2.

is this a known problem?  I have uninstalled.

since uninstall, no problems.

comments.?

wife is [email protected].  licensed for start11 and cursorfx.

me: same model dell; lic for odesktop, fx and start 11.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details on your Wife system and issue.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number.
  2. You upgrade to Start11v2.1 from which version? Start11v1?

Please try download Start11v2.11 directly from your account download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately after installation finished. Retest and report back.

did as suggested; d/l 2.11.  installed ok.  rebooted.  minor problem --- could not get win 10 style menu,

changed to win 7 which I use.  OK.  ran from 10 am yesterday with no black screens.  all is well!
