Right Click Context Menu

Hello there, I have a question regarding the context menu that comes up when right clicking the Taskbar.

How do I disable this and use the default one instead? I know there is an option to do this for the Start Button but not for the Taskbar.

I use a software called Nilesoft Shell to customize my context menu and Start11 completely overrides it, changes the color to this ugly grey and fills it with useless stuff.

You can accomplish this, but you will have to edit the Registry. This method was published by Stardock and is safe.

You can create string registry key to use Win32 menus on right-click on the taskbar to allow third-party extension of the menu.

Create a new String and name it S11_UseOldRightClickMenus and use the Data Value 1

Create this new String key in the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

As always, create a Restore Point or a Registry backup before changing the Registry.

You will need to restart your computer for this to rake effect.
