Start11: Windows 11 taskbar slide down instead of fade in?

Trying out Start11 for Windows 11 to put taskbar back on the top of the screen where it belongs.  When I finally set the config properly, this does work, which is good, but the taskbar fades in instead of sliding down (from the top).  Can I change some config somewhere to get it to slide down?  If not, will Stardock be adding that feature?  Also would be cool if they can make setting up auto-hiding the taskbar on top easier - I think I had to flip three toggles in different locations to get it working.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't think Start11 have this feature. However, I have forward your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

Thank you.

Any update on this?  End of Life of Windows 10 is fast approaching.

To repeat, I'd like a way to have the autohide for the taskbar on top to slide out, like Windows 10, not fade.

Sorry, but from what I see there is nothing new on this one.

Is there a particular reason why fade isn't acceptable to you?

Because that's not what Windows 10 does with the taskbar on top, and autohide enabled.

Actually, (speaking to the forum operators) I'm a bit annoyed that when I post that I need a critical feature, the company agent just posts that there's "no news" on that and that's it's not planned.

Can you "basj," submit that as a feature request?  It would be the only reason I buy the product and likely a reason for many others to as Windows 10 will lose support in October of this year!  The ability to move the taskbar from the bottom is one of the top voted feature requests submitted to MS so I know it would be an appreciated feature.

It's obvious MS doesn't care about users.  I was hoping that Stardock does.
