Fences rollup feature request

Make fences to get "top window" when rolling up

Hi!

I would give fences 5/5 if it had the possibility to get "top window" when rolling up the fences at the edges.

I have been looking everywhere in the settings of fences but haven't found that option. As you see in the pic, they always appear below any window which is annoying when you want to open items that are below it. Could you please make it possible to get fences to appear above any window when rolling up?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, have you tried, Fences peek function? You can set hotkeys so that you can "toggle" or "press and hold" and that will make your Fences appear on top of any open Windows. Something like the screenshot below. Fences v5 should have added feature : "Show Fences"  on taskbar.

Thank you.

Hi again, thank you for your reply :)

Yeah I have tried it but sorry it's my own fault, I wasn't really clear about what I wanted achieve. I don't like the idea of the need of using keyboard to get the behaviour I want. I just want to be able to do it on mouse hovering (I have enabled automatic roll up) and when the fence roll up the fence is always below any window when I do so. English isn't my native language, hope you understand me better now.

That is something Fences can not do. Its work on the desktop layer and it can not simply open over an open application like a dock can.

Thank you,

If you have a mouse with programable buttons, you could set this keyboard shortcut (Win+Space) to a button on your mouse.

Hello and thanks for ur tip my plastic buddy :p

Yeah that's the best solution so far and I have already thought about it too. The problem is that all buttons are programmed for something else. I'm using Razer DeathAdder V2 with Synapse, the Synapse software is awesome and has the possibility to make macros but it also has its limitations (e.g. programming something by holding down right mouse button and then click on left button not possible). I really wish there were a superadvanced mouse programming software with almost none limitations like HydraMouse but that software is no longer in development since ~ 1990 lol... if you guys plan to make your own in the future i would gladly buy it for sure :) thanks for your time guys <3 keep up the good work u have done with everything else so far, if start11 didn't exist I would probably still stay with Win10 xD
