Sleep/Lock buttons not working from keyboard

When I use the keyboard to navigate to the Windows Key -> Shutdown -> Sleep button and hit return, nothing happens. Same applies If I hit the Windows Key -> Shutdown -> Lock button. But if I use the mouse to do one of these, then it behaves as I would expect, i.e. goes into sleep mode or locks the screen.

This used to work and indeed does work as expected from the default Windows menu.

Ok, in the grand scheme of things not earth-shattering but annoying just the same.  Thanks for any help . . .

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, you're referring to which Stardock product? Start10/Start11/Start11v2? Please be specific.

Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need full build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Start11v2 style that you having issue with.

Thanks for the swift response . . .

It's Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2 build 22631.3593 and I'm using the Start11 Modern style.

If it's any help, I see the problem with the Lock and Sleep buttons but the Restart button seems to work fine. I have a desktop and a laptop and both exhibit the same behaviour. As mentioned in the original post, this used to work until about 6 (?) weeks or so but then stopped for no obvious reason.
