Fences Extended Crash Reporting all time

Hello
Can't start in any way. It only works for a while after reinstalling and then the same message pops up every time.


Before the above message the windows desktop flashes black 2 times and as if something is switching.
I have this report from the program. question can i paste it here directly on the forum?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full build number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences full version numbers.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Hi
I started windows with in Clean Boot according to your all tips and unfortunately still the same message.
and the fence program does not want to start.

I have to send another file with logs

Hi

Is this PC in a corporate environment? --> No. It isn't. It is a private laptop

Do you happen to have Forcepoint installed? -->No. I don't have Forcepoint, but I have another firewall and antivirus program from ESET.


So far the Fences 5 trial works fine, of course I first uninstalled version 3. Is it possible to have two different versions installed on one computer. I haven't tried this, but probably not.

This I know.

The trial version will end and what next. How does this relate to my problem. Fences 5 works, fences 3 doesn't, then what is the problem. What should I do next.

You have a choice it would seem.

  1. Continue to investigate what 3rd party app or Windows setting is causing your Fences 3 issue.
  2. Upgrade to Fences 5.
