Issue with Fences 5 Rollup Fences

Item under the Rollup Fence being selected instead of item clicked on within the expanded Rollup Fence

from Stardock Forums

I have a rollup fence containg URLs.  If I try to drag one of the icons down to the taskbar - to automatically add it as a pinned item on Firefox; I often find the rather than the URL icon, I get an icon from another fence that is being covered by the URL fence.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows full version/build number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences 5 full version number.
  3. Post a video of this issue happening so we understand it better.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.4355

Fences:  5.04

Unable to provide a video.

This is the desktop before the URLs fence is unrolled.  Notice that paint.net icon is spaced three spaces down from top of screen.

 

Before URL Fence unrolls

 

Now with the URLs fence unrolled I click on & drag 'fullstory Website Monitoring' icon towards taskbar (so that it becomes pinned item on Firefox).  Notice that this icon is also 3 spaces down from top of screen (& so overlaps with paint.net icon shown in previous screenshot.

 

When I drag the URL icon off of the bottom of the URL fence, the item the cursor has selected suddenly changes into paint.net

I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Tried with overlaps Fences, no issue detected. Anyway, any reason you have to make your Fences overlaps each other, while Fences offer Desktop pages for better management of Fences?
