Custom start button image breaks on multi-monitor setups

I just installed Start11 v2 and am disappointed to find that the custom start button image still breaks on multi-monitor setups.
I am using the "enhanced" task bar to get one on each screen, a vertically smaller task bar, actual text next to each program, and not join multiple instances of the same program.

Whenever I click the start button on the second screen, the start menu opens there, UNLESS I have a custom start button image enabled. If I have, the start menu always opens on the primary screen for some reason.

Fix it, Stardock!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure, which is your issue? Do you mean this:

Whenever I click the start button on the second screen, the start menu opens there
End of quote

When you press the Start button where the menu open up? In the First monitor?

Thanks

Yes, as the line continues: If I have, the start menu always opens on the primary screen for some reason.

Whenever the custom start button image is enabled, clicking it on the secondary monitor opens the start menu on the primary monitor. If I turn off the custom image, reverting to the Windows logo, the start menu opens on the screen where I click the start button.

Does anything change if you tick the box on the control page to make the Windows key open the menu on the monitor the mouse is on?

After some further experimentation, yes. It works if you tick that box, but that requires using the Start11 start menu.

The problem only appears when not using the Start11 menu (using the built-in Windows start-menu) and then enabling a custom start button image, and clicking it on a secondary monitor.

Need to know, you on Windows 11, yes? What is your current build number. Please use Winver.exe.

Thank you,
