Fenced enclosures move to a different screen

Hello there - I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a very odd bug I've had with Fences since version 2 (I'm with 4.22 now, under Win11, but it happened even with Win 7).

I have a multi-screen arrangement (3 x 4K, horizontally arranged). the fences are all on the right hand screen. whenever I update the display driver (but sometimes also without, when the screens turn on after they turn off for the night by themselves), the fences, in their entire formation "jump" to the center screen, which is my main display.

I suspect it has to do because during these operations, the displays "change", and for a second or two the computer only sees one display, and then the fences move there, and don't want to move back into their rightful place.

Anyone else has it ? Any ideas for a solution ?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. These issue have been reported multiple times before. And, I do believe, it been resolved recently on Fences v5.5 Beta. Refer to this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/527284. If you wish, you can do a trial test of Fences v5 to see if it also resolve the issue for you. But, for trial, you will need to wait a little, wait until V5.5 Beta be released as a full version.

Thanks, I'll wait for 5.5 to become official.

I assume that won't be fixed for the version I bought licenses for (4) ?

I am not sure if the issue can be resolved in Fences 4. Since, from what I know, there are lot of things going on in Fences 5 to achieve Multi-monitor control. But, I might be wrong.
