Fences Will Not Align In 2 Columns - 3 minimum

Sizing Fence To "2" columns fails - still 3 columns

Fences 5.04 - when I try to resize the fence to a 2 column format, the fence will only reduce to 3 columns, completely hiding other icons on the screen (I found this by accident, looking for a missing icon by re-creating it and noticing a (2) on the name). I've tried various selections in the configuration, but no change.  Always a MINIMUM of 3 columns.

I don't really want 3 column fences and don't want to have to go there especially.

Sorry you feel that way about those of us who are trying to help you.

As you can see below, reducing a Fence to one column allows me to scroll thru all the shortcuts.

The only way I am able to reproduce this issue is when a fence is too narrow. Making the fence more wide allows me to have two columns.

I am using Fences 5 on Windows 11. So if you are using another version of Fences on a different OS that could be why we are not able to reproduce your issue.

This is why I asked the OP for more information on his system(https://forums.stardock.com/489934/get;3928492) , so that I can try to match his situation and try to reproduce the issue on my system.

  1. Windows 10/11 full build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Windows scale factor (100%, 125%, 200% etc)
  3. Desktop icons size setting. (Large, Medium, Small, or Custom icons size)
  4. A video showing us with this issue.

Thank you,
