The Bland Is Out There/Traveling to the Heart FAQ

When I first began my blog in the early 2000s, I was a broke college student trying to keep my writing skills sharp between classes and maybe have an article to include in my resume. My mom would say to me every so often, "I'm suprised you never went into anything have to do with music." With The Bland Is Out There (aka Traveling to the Heart), I guess I have in a way. Since 2010, I had thought about blogging again but didn't quite know how to get back into it. However, as I've discovered this past November, the blog now has its own seperate resume.  Thank you to the readers who made it possible.

Good site du'ud! Say, my brother and me got a band concept, original songs and the will to devour. What we haven't found (yet) is a boss-person/manager/pimp to sell our eminently salable botties. We want someone EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what everyone would expect. We might best be described as a fusion-without-confusion band concept: Acid rock (Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix) blended with Heavy Metal (Black Sabbath, both Ozzie and Dio, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, Metallica) and Grunge (Grand Funk, Nirvana) with infusions of Country/Country-rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels) and traditional Celtic (i.e., Chieftains, Steeleye Span) and African (Voodoo) rhythms. BUT, for the sake of scaring lots of white people, we'd prefer some "Bimbette Boombah Queen" like Kylie Minogue, McDonna or Brittany Spears. We've been pestering the Olsen twins, but they NEVER answer their (incestuously intercourse)ing e-mails. We did scare the dog dookie out of some of their fan-girls, so we know we're on the right track.
Any help/advice/suggestions? We'd really appreciate it.
THANX!
