Unable to access multiple Pages

Hello,

I have a problem using my installed Fences application on my  Lenovo Ideapad3 Laptop.

My system is : Stardock Fences Version 3.1.3.3 Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 (10.0.190456) with latest updates.

As far as I can remember,  I have 4 pages of about 4 fences each page....

After booting up, my desktop just shows my initial page of 4 fences.

I can successfully move Icons between the 4 Fences on my initial screen page, 

 However, I am unable to access multiple pages on my desktop, using any of the methods below....

I looked at the information on the ('Desktop Pages' Page)  in the Help section under Using desktop pages.

Access multiple screens of Icons by grabbing and pulling .etc.

The instructions state :

How to use with a mouse.

Switch to another page using your mouse, grab and pull the left or right edge of your desktop. Alternatively you can also press both mouse buttons and drag from anywhere on your desktop.....

How to use with a keyboard

Switch to another page using your keyboard, activate the desktop by clicking on it and then press the left or right arrow keys while holding the ALT...

How to move Icons or Fences between desktops

To move an Icon or a fence between pages, drag the Icon or Fence to the left or right edge of the screen and hold it there for a moment. The desktop will switch pages so that you can drop it there.

None of these methods seem to be working now although they did originally work some time ago. I've tried restarting my laptop but it didn't help. In the past, I mainly used the ALT/arrow option to change Pages....

In The Settings page, All options  except 'Switch pages with middle mouse button drag' are ticked. 

Strangely, if I tick the 'Enabled' option in the Settings section of the 'Desktop Pages' page, all the Fences on my initial Page disappear..  I don't understand this......

In the past, I mainly used the ALT/arrow method to access other pages and the click Drag method to move Icons between pages.....

Can anyone help me solve this annoyoing problem please...... Thank You.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

That tick need to be there for Fences desktop pages to work properly. If all the Fences on your main desktop is gone when you ticked it, it which mean, you just turn on the "Fences desktop pages" option. That usually mean that your Fences just move to another desktop page.

What you can try is, with Desktop pages turn on (ticked) try do the desktop layout snapshot restore. I hope you do have a good saved layout desktop snapshot.

Thank you Basj for your response..much appreciated. However, it does not address my basic problem which is that I am unable to access multiple pages,  or move Icons or Fences between desktops as I described in my original post.

I tried your suggested procedure but it did not cure the problem ( I have several good saved layout desktop snapshots)

There might be something is blocking Fences from working properly. First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
