Some suggestions about full screen Start Menu of Start11

Hi, Start11 team!

I usually like to use the full-screen start menu of Windows 11 style, but if you put too many icons on one page, it will be inconvenient to operate. Can you add an option to customize the number of rows and columns of application icons? That will be very helpful, thank you!!

Hello,

It best if you can let us know on what you wanted to suggest. Do know that you can click and drag any of the new start panel for Windows 10 and newer start panel in Start11v2. And you can set the size of icons within a group or individually. You can set pages. What I am trying to say is that you can pretty much control almost everything to appear on a page. For me it is already flexible enough.

Thank you.

Hi, I'm glad to receive your reply!

Maybe my English is not good enough to express my meaning clearly, I'd better use Chinese to expression it again, hope you can understand^_^:

【In case you still don't understand what I mean, for reference, I'll still put the translation that was translated using a translation software^_^ :

As you said, currently the customization of application icons in the start menu is already very flexible, but there is a lack of options for customizing the number of rows and columns of icons. Currently, you can only decide how many icons to place in a row or column by adjusting the size of the icon, but I would like to customize it according to my own needs, such as placing 8 icons in a row, 6 columns on a page, and so on.

Why do I need this? Because in the full screen menu, I want to avoid having too many icons on one page (although you can adjust the icons to the largest size to reduce the number of icons, but then the icons will be too big and not beautiful). You know, when there are too many icons on a page, it's not easy to find the icon you want to click.

I think we can learn from the Launchpad in macOS.  When in full screen, there are not too many icons on each page, which would not only make the screen look ugly, but also not be convenient and concise.】

I hope you can understand what I'm saying.  Have a nice day!

By the way, I know that you can change the number of icons by dragging the mouse under the non-full screen menu, but I prefer using the full screen start menu to the non-full screen start menu because it allows you to open the start menu without interference from other software interfaces, which provides a more immersive and focused experience.  Thank you!
