Access to Windows Powershell

The option exists but gives nothing

Hello,

When I try to run Windows PowerShell as administrator from the Start11 menu via right click options, it only runs in normal (non-administrator) mode and I am forced to revert to the original Windows 10 Start menu to gain access to the PowerShell administrator mode...

How to fix this problem?

THANKS !

You should try Microsoft's Windows Terminal which replaces Command Prompt, PowerShell, and Windows PowerShell. There is a setting available to always open as Administrator. Available from the Microsoft Store.

Description from the store:

"The Windows Terminal is a modern, fast, efficient, powerful, and productive terminal application for users of command-line tools and shells like Command Prompt, PowerShell, and WSL. Its main features include multiple tabs, panes, Unicode and UTF-8 character support, a GPU accelerated text rendering engine, and custom themes, styles, and configurations."

The open as administrator option in the more menu should open it as admin.

You can also hold down ctrl + shift when launching any app to make it launch as admin.
