Fences 4, Stalled Install on Win 11

I do not know what version of Fences I have.  When my laptop starts up, a Window opens stating Fences 4 Install now.

Cancel only stops if for the moment.  Accepting the installation starts a download of 13MB; it does not download it to my download folder.  When it gets to 12.99MB, it stalls and is totally nonresponsive.  I have let it sit for hours.  I have used the computer with it sitting there.  

How can I tell if I need it?  How can I stop it from showing back up after each boot?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure what happening in your system. But do you have Object Desktop manager running in the background?

Howdy,

When I look at processes, there aren't any that are Object nor Stardoc.  Is there something else I should look for?

Since it is addressing installing Fences 4, I am wonder which Fences I have installed.  Is there a way to tell?

Hello,

If you go here at this page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. You should see what version of Fences under your account. With that known you should download whatever latest Fences version available to you.

Then please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall with the version you just downloaded above. And reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
