Daily Snapshot not taking

I am not getting the "daily snapshots" being taken.

Yes, the checkbox is checked, yet there only are some real old manual snapshots.

I delete them, and still no automatic daily snapshots are appearing.

This device is used daily for short periods, then turned off.

How can I get snapshots to run when the device is booted, or at least as soon as possible.

Or when do the snapshot run? How to change this?

There are two StarDock entries in the task scheduler, (WIN+D and fast startup) but not a snapshot task.

Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know some information from you system.

  1. Windows full version numbers.  Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences full version numbers.

Thank you.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

Thank you for the steps.

Another day later and no daily snapshot. Note that this device is only used for about 60 minutes per day, but I would still like to have these snaps available just in case.

Is there a task we can create that runs the snapshot process? I'm fine with creating a batch file or a PowerShell script to run.

As is likely suspected, the PC is just no on long enough for automatic snapshots to run. There is not currently a process that allows for scripted snapshot-taking.  It would be prudent to create them manually before logging off going forward.
