Rules not always apply
I have this settings:

But the Steams icons don't go to the right places unless I run "apply rules now," and then it will work.
But I have to do this on nearly every reboot.

Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know your Fences version number.
Thank you.

I am not sure this makes sense to me...
That rule (on its own) would only work for new Steam icons that were created on the desktop (nowhere else I might add).
The 'apply rules now' would work to get any Steam shortcuts that were placed on the desktop before the rule creation into the target folder.
Are you saying that, after a reboot, all those Steam Fenced icons are, all of a sudden, back out of their Fence?

Correct - it falls out of place, and when I run Rules again, it will go back to the right places in the fence.

That reads like you may have conflicting rules (boot one wins the 1st round, manual, the 2nd). If you eliminate all other rules that are competing at run time, can you still reproduce the issue?

I do not see any conflicts...

Just uncheck all but that Steam one and see what you find, ypk...

If I do uncheck the others, then NEW ones will NOT go to the right places, which If I don't uncheck the others, the new ones will not go to the right places, which is a moot point for me. is a moot point for me.

This is a process of elimination...
If you uncheck all others, and if it works (likely), you turn on the others 1 by one, trying to reproduce the issue. When you reach one that reproduces the issue, you examine both rules, the Steam and the one that caused the issue to reproduce, and figure out what in them is the root cause - thus, make changes to one or the other...
