Upgrading from Start 11 1.50 to 2.05 reset settings & layout

Hello

I was originally on Start 11 version 1.50. I'd configured the Start Menu to how I liked it over a year ago, and hadn't needed to use the Start 11 settings app since.

I saw V2 was available so I decided to go for the upgrade (2.05). However, once upgraded all my configuration and settings have gone back to default. Admittedly I had not backed up the settings, because until now I didn't realise there was a feature for it.

Is there a way I might be able to get back the old configuration and start menu layout or is that gone now?

I'd rather assumed the upgrade would not have reset to defaults.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I know, if you install over Start11v1, the setting should still be there. But, if you uninstalled Start11v1 and choose remove setting. That will remove it. And Start11v2 will not be able to use it.
