Hello,

I just installed Start11 trial and I want to say it is so cool and I am willing to purchase it.

I want to know if I can fix this small incompatibility between this two apps, as when this option is enabled, this is what happens.

I have uploaded a short 5 seconds video showing the issue so you can fix it or provide me a solution.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I think there will always be compatibility issue with RoundedTB since both app is for changing Windows taskbar. However to be sure, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks

Hello,

Yeah, I know.

I just want to know if there is a way to fix it since I like the Taskbar Transparency and many other taskbar settings. I will be waiting for an update from the higher ups. Thank you!

RoundedTB has not been updated since November 2021. In fact the GitHub repository was archived by the author in September 2023. Since there will not bee any more updates or fixes, it's compatibility with Windows is sure to wane. I used RoundedTB on Windows 10 years ago, but upgraded to Stardock, Start11 in October of 2021. I am now using Start11v2 on Windows 11. It looks like Split Mode and toggle System Tray are the only features that Start11v2 does not support.

Microsoft has hinted at a split taskbar in the next major version of Windows, but there is no guarantee. I would recommend making the jump from RoundedTB to Start11v2 as it offers a robust set of features and options to customize the Start Menu and Taskbar without relying on Windows 10 code that still exists in the Registry.

Hello there,

I know RoundedTB has not been updated in a while, but it was working perfectly fine on Windows 11 23H2 with the right settings.

I get your point, I will try turning off RoundedTB and use Start11, but this 2 features Split Mode and System Tray look cool so if you guys could add it it would be stonks!
