Start 11 2.05 Bug

Hi,

I am user of v2.05 version from steam.

I have been noticing this bug that has been happening a lot to me.

The preview window of any software opened remains open (at the bottom part of screenshot attached) and gets stuck until unless i bring back the cursor to any other software thus resulting preview changes and hence it starts to work correctly and preview gets dissapear.

I am attaching the screenshot link of the Bug where preview window gets stuck on my Chrome window forever.

 

Please solve this. now it is bothering me.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know you on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number. Use Winver.exe to get those.

Also are you using enhanced taskbar or not and does your computer have touch?

I am using AUTO HIDE feature via enhanced taskbar.

no i do not have touch enabled pc.

please help. even while typing and having to switch to other programs, the preview often gets stuck.

may be AUTO HIDE is having issue with THE PREVIEW WINDOW.  just my guess.

 

Please check the issue.

Don't the preview popup go away if you click on anything else?

thanks for the quick reply.

 it does not , it remains there and then I switch to other program,  the preview switches to that other program but it is there and then after few seconds it goes away.

sometimes it goes away without any issue and sometimes it gets stuck.

I can not recreate your issue on my Windows 11 system. First, please try this, to make sure everything installed correctly. Uninstall Start11, keep setting. Reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Re-download latest version again from your product page. Install it. Reboot again immediately after installation finished. Retest and report back.
