Confused on why object desktop shows start 11 v2 as installed when it isn't

I bought object desktop back in May of 2023 and if you can see my screenshot, I show that Start 11 v2 is installed, yet clearly it isn't because I see a huge app dialog with version 1.5 and now, I see an upgrade!

Why?

I'm going to assume that my yearly license for object desktop back in May of last year doesn't provide Start 11 v 2.0.   That sucks but I understand why. We all need to make. money.

But please, fix this object desktop so that it doesn't 'appear' that I have v2.0 installed (it shows an uninstall option!). Please.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I know if your subscription still active, which it should until may 2024. Than Start11 v2 should also be available for you without any extra cost. As for the ODM showing Start11v2 installed, I guess, it just issue on ODM get confused between Start11v1 and Start11v2 . What you can do if you wish to use Start11v2, go to your product account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. And download Start11v2 from there.

Refererence : Something like screenshot below. Both Start11v1 and v2 should appear in there.

thanks

Thank you!

That is a pleasant surprise. The software is now installed.

Hopefully others that are faced with the same object desktop problem will find this post.

Regards.
