the other day, I noticed that my edge windows grouped together, but Now I can't get it to do it anymore. I have no idea how to get it back.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Start11v2 on Windows 11? Try this setting. Try "always combine taskbar buttons" or "Sometimes combinr taskbar buttons".
