Auto Saving Configurations

Hi

Recently upgraded to Start11 2.05.

I'm using Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

Spent approx 1 hour configuring the Start Menu using Start11 'Windows Pro' option using new tabs (great update btw) but when I selected to use another Start11 Start Menu i.e. 'Windows 7 style' and then went back to the 'Windows Pro' option, all of my configuration was lost - annoying to say the least.

I know that you can save configurations to files etc., but can you release an update where if you select another Start11 Windows option, a warning or option is provided to 'save' any configuration work automatically?

Sorry you lost your configuration. I have a very complex Start11v2 menu in the Windows 10 style and I switch styles all the time to test issues others are having with different styles and I have never experienced this issue. It is very strange indeed that this happed to you. I don't recall seeing this issue reported before in the forums.

My only suggestion would be to Save your configurations on a regular schedule.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. that is strange, from my experience with Start11v2, once I setup those pinned items etc and if I goes to Windows 7 style to check on some report by others users. I can come back to any of those other style other than Windows 7 and Modern style, Those style still unchanged. Specifically on those pinned items, tabs etc.

What actually get changed in your situation?
