Start 11 V2 - Feature request: Windows 10 Style menu search bar/button

Recently I've gotten myself a Surface to use primarily only in tablet mode and from the looks of it I can't find any option that allows me to activate Start 11's search by touch with the Windows 10 styled menu. I have to connect my keyboard and hit a key to open it resulting in a inconvenient situation.

Currently without a keyboard attached I have to use the Windows 11 search button, and which has its own mess that I'd prefer to avoid in the future.

Other Start menu styles have Search bars or buttons that activate Start 11's Search, could a option for a search bar or button be added in a future update to the Windows 10 style menu to fix this?
