Make sure you have Transparency effects turned on in the Windows settings. Personalization>Colors>Transparency effects

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Also, make sure "Use Mica effect on menu background" is turn off.

Thanks

I am having the same issue. Start11 2.08. I have transparency turned on in the windows settings, and I have Mica turned off in the Start11 settings. Still, the start menu (windows 11 style) has no transparency regardless of where I put the slider.

The only other thing that would cause this is if you are using a custom menu background with it's transparency set above 80%.

I suspect it's a bug not a problem with the settings because my settings are correct.

EDIT: After several restarts, it is now working correctly without me making any other changes. Definitely a bug of some kind.

Glad it's working for you now. Probably just a hiccup with Windows Explorer after the install.
