Bug report and Import Chinese Translation

Dear Official:

I am a user of your company's Fences software and am currently trying your software to decide whether to purchase it. However, during the trial process, I have discovered numerous issues that greatly affect the software experience. How can I solve them?

 

My system is Win10 22H2 (19045.3930 version) , 1920 * 1200 resolution and 100% scaling.

 

①I noticed that many sentences are missing phrases and words.

Based on my speculation, the possible reason for this kind of phenomenon is that the space reserved for this line of text during programming is too small, resulting in automatic line breaks during typesetting.

 

Examples: (These images show just a small part of the overall issues.)

 

②And, this pic shows that the program cut a part of the text.

 

③Besides, some sentences were translated to Traditional Chinese incorrectly and should be corrected to Simplified Chinese.



In addition,as a volunteer, I helped the PrivaZer project and translated it into Simplified Chinese. I contributed a lot to the LibreOffice project by improving Chinese translation and writing a Chinese wiki.

 

So, if there is anything I can help, such as assisting with translation and pointing out issues, I will do my best to help to correct them as soon as possible.

Thank you for your prompt reply! I will start checking and correcting any inappropriate translations immediately.

But, what could I do to solve the problem of missing phrases and words? This problem makes it difficult for me to understand the meaning of the statement, and I can only use Fences 5 by guessing the missing words, which has caused me a lot of trouble

On that part I seem cannot reproduce your issue on my Windows 11. Maybe I need more information on your system.

  1. Your Windows full version number. Use Winver.exe to get those numbers.
  2. Fences 5 full version numbers.
  3. What is your monitor resolution and Scale factor. (100%, 125%, 150% etc)
