HI.
I have fences 5 installed and I notice that everytime I check my fences on my desktop is missing, then I click fences exe and click through the tabs on the left and suddenly my fences is back. I tried Vanish functionality before, but I disabled it.
Any idea what could be wrong?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Will the icon appear if you double click on your desktop?
Also post how your setting look like on the Vanished tab.

Need to know you on Windows 10 or 11? Need to know its full version number. Use Winver.exe.
Also, need Windows setting on "Show desktop icons"

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
