Close Start11 with Esc after searching

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to close the Start11 menu using only one press of the Esc button after performing a search.

For example, try using the standard Win10/11 start menu. Type to perform a search. Then press Esc. The whole menu disappears.

In Start11, pressing Esc from the search screen only clears the search but leaves the main start menu open.

Hello,
You can disable Start11 search and that will than default back to use Windows search and you should get all those keystroke back.

Hi basj, thanks for the response! I really like the Start11 search, so I was hoping to use this feature while keeping it enabled. Maybe it could be an enhancement?
