Hi,
I believe in older versions it was possible to reduce or increase the distance / gap between the icons on the taskbar. It seems this is not possible with the latest version of Start11. Therefore, I'd like to request addings this functionality back to the tool.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you are remembering a Windows feature which was introduced with Windows 10 for a distinct "Tablet Mode." When you were in "Desktop Mode," the taskbar icons were compacted (closer together), and when you were in "Tablet Mode," the taskbar icons expanded (farther apart) for easier interaction on touch screens.
I agree with basj. I don't believe there was ever a feature in Start10 or Start11 that provided taskbar icon spacing control.
You're probably right - or maybe it was provided by some other tool...
Nevertheless it would be great to have this functionality, because the two options that icons "overflow" that are currently available are not very convenient, I think...
