Start11 Crashing and Restarting Constantly

Hi All,

I've got Start11 v2.03 running on a Windows 11 Microsoft Surface and it crashes and restarts constantly when I try to do something with it. This is a new Surface that was just setup this week, but on the previous Surface running v2.03 (as well as the pre-version 2 version of Start11), the same thing happened. I do have a lot of icons and groups of icons on the Start menu and am running 3 screens (including the Surface screen itself). On the 2 monitor screens, I have the taskbar on the top. On the Surface screen, I have the taskbar at the bottom.

Are there log files or is there some way to identify why this is happening?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just a suggestion, instead of Grouped with folders, why not try using tabs instead. As for the crashing issue. Do try this, backup your current layout. And restart all over and start adding icons and see if the amount of icons are causing the issue. Also try looking into if there are icons from external drive that slow in respond that might causing issue.

The Windows event log may indicate what is crashing.

Otherwise a dmp file from a crash would be very helpful.
