Issue activating Fences 5

Trying to activate Fences 5 on the computer an earlier purchased version was installed on. Product key shows in activation window. Receiving:

"Unable to activate Fences, as it's currently active on a different computer.

Click continue to deactivate the other computer and proceed with activation on this computer.

You may also purchase another product key."

Clicking continue shows the same window. Please advise.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You upgraded to Fences 5 via Active Object Desktop subscription or you purchased Fences 5 upgrade?

Thanks

I received an email from Stardock Software - [email protected] - indicating "You've been upgraded to Fences 5" and "Thank you for purchasing Fences! We know you love being able to organize your desktop icons. The Fences 5 Release Preview is now available, and we wanted to make sure that you received the upgrade at no further cost to you as you are a Fences subscriber." and a download link.

Please go here to the link below and check if Fences 5 listed in there. If it is a key that go with it should also appear there.

That is the key that appears in the activation window. But when I click activate I get the "Unable to activate Fences, as it's currently active on a different computer." message. Which is incorrect as this is the computer the earlier version was installed on. And when I click continue the same window just reappears.

Hello,
Best to raise support ticket by using the link below, use the "Ask a question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
