German translation, 2 entries in Autoruns and links in the fences open with just 1 click

Hello,

I use Fences 4 (version 4.21).

 

Since my English is not very good, I was glad that the language could be converted into German in Fences.

Unfortunately, however, I then found that many program settings menus are not translated into German in my case.

Can you change that please?

 

I also use the Autoruns program.

After the installation of Fences 2 entries from Stardock to Fences, with the note "File not found: files.exe.

If you deactivate these two entries, Fences no longer works correctly.

Can this be corrected so that the two entries are displayed correctly or no longer in Autoruns?

 

Is there an option in Fences that can be activated so that you can open the individual links in the individual fences with just 1 click?

Please point us to that specific area so we can find it. Screenshots of the area would greatly help us find it.

There is none such option within Fences. But, you can change Windows setting so that it open with just one left click on an icon. https://www.ricksdailytips.com/open-desktop-icons-with-single-click/

thank you for your feedback.

Funny, now the program was mostly except for 2 in German.

I also set the German language in the program.

Could it be that Fences messes up something and now and then uses the original language English?

Here are 2 screenshots of the settings that are still in English.

 

 

Because of Autoruns, I also added a screenshot of it.

 

Thank you for the tip, so I was able to set that the links can only be opened with 1 click.

Addendum:

 

Now that I have recalled Fences settings, everything is again in English, even though I selected German as a language.

Strange when I set my Windows display language to Deutsch and Fences language also to Deutsch restart the system to make sure proper language was applied. Here is what I get on my system.

The last one, yes the drop down menu still in english. I'll forward this issue to support for their review. But the rest is correct. Not sure why, its not display properly on your system. Have you tried restarting the system once you set the language?

About, Autorun, I am not sure about the application, so I forward your question to support for their review and feedback on it.

I have now set it up and then restarted the system.

So far everything fits.

Unfortunately, too early, the program is completely English again. Seems to be a bug in the program.

 

I also found that I cannot enter any value at "Keep Groups Spaced", neither with the two arrows next to the value 0 nor directly with the keyboard.

 

 

Would it be possible to integrate an option into the program so that you can display the hidden information popup again?

This is known issue and I believe it has already be log internally to be look at.

I mean the two information popups from the program, which can also be hidden.

Once this one, which despite sometimes German language is always in English.

 

And more importantly the popup which explains that the desktop icons are still there and were only hidden and you should click twice in a free area of the desktop so that the desktopicons are back.

 

This always saves me to explain that nothing is broken on the PC if someone else uses the PC and he will then explain how he can see the desktopicons again. :)

I believe this two popups you're referring to is something that come up for the first time something happen. The "How to configure" popup only show up when you first start Fences after your finished installing Fences. It will never come up again after that. Unless you uninstall Fences completely from that system, reboot and reinstall Fences. I believe the second popup you're referring to, also appear once when you first double click on your desktop and the icons/Fences disappear. It just to tell the user not to be alarm for the disappearing icons. etc.

I been using in Fences in English all this while so I am not sure if these two popup were not translated properly on different language.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem mit der Übersetzung, mal deutsch mal englisch.

 

Wie kann man das ändern. Englisch ist nicht so gut, da mein englisch Bescheiden ist.
