Upgrading from Windows 10 with Fences 4.21 to Windows 11

Upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11

Dear Support Forum,

I run Stardock Fences 4.21 successfully on my Windows 10 machine. As many users experience there is a prompt saying that the machine, I have is eligible for the upgrade to Windows 11. Before I instruct the upgrade to take place (yes, I am going to take the plunge) are there any special steps that I need to take to preserve my fences how I have them setup? I do have automatic snapshots every month and will take one just before (to be safe), but I need to know if there is anything I need to do so Fences 4.21 will not be messed up by the Windows 11 upgrade?

Hello Chris,

From what I know by default the layout snapshot should still be there. But, to be sure, you can use this guide to back it up. https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots
