Start 11 system tray/taskbar settings

Icon hide/show problems

In Windows 10 with Start 10 you could disable certain system icons, like the network icon.  Since upgrading to Windows 11 and Start 11 - I cannot find an option to make the "Network" icon go away.  I've also found that any app that opens and creates a system tray icon gets hidden by default.  Example:  Steam, Discord, Outlook, Zoom...  I have to go into WINDOWS settings and unhide them.  This does not happen on Windows 11 systems that do not use Start 11 - leading me to believe this is something that Start 11 is controlling.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know, which icons show up or not show up within the system tray is not under Start11 control. Its under Windows Taskbar Setting. Windows 11 taskbar have changed a lot of its function some icons no longer be able to be hidden.
