Fences 3

Grey Background has disappeared

from Stardock Forums

I installed Fences 3 into my new Dell inspiron 15 3520 laptop running win 11.

At first everything was fine. I even installed a second monitor and the Dell docking station to expand my usb ports and get a wired ether net port.  The next day I turned on the laptop and the grey background of fences had disappeared.  I tried uninstalling Fences and reinstalling with no luck.  It ran fine for several days and this happeed only after I installed the Docking station and extra monitor (at the same time) but it only showed up after turned it laptop back on the next morning.

Very strange,

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system:-

  • Windows 11 full version numbers. Use Winver.exe
  • Fences 3 full version number.
  • Screenshot of the issue.

Note: For system with latest Windows 11 version, it is best to use Fences 4 instead Fences 3.

Fixed the problem. Did not even notice my screen background color was all black.  I changed it back to blue and all is OK. 

Feel like newbie, didn't even notice the screen color changed until I read some emails from others in the letters section, and someone said something about the background color.   Should have done that first!  I don't even know how the color changed.
