Desktop icons do not show on PC startup

I have Fences v 4.21 installed. When I restart my Windows 10 Home PC, the desktop icons do not show, either fenced or not. If I right-click on the Desktop and click "Configure Fences" desktop icons appear within their respective Fence. "Enable Fences" is checked under Basic Options. I have tried uninstalling Fences 4 and re-installing without any change in this behavior. I have also followed the steps in the "Desktop icons or Fences are missing" section of the FAQ. Please advise.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Check if your setting on Quick-Hide: "Always show icons at startup" is selected.

Thanks. That option was checked but I decided I would disable the setting highlighted below completely and see what happens. I restarted my PC and now the icons show in Fences as expected.
