Deleted Fence

Recover Missing Fence

Had some funky things going on, but not apparently virus. I made the mistake of running Windows antivirus at the same time as my Webroot SecureANywhere. Anyway... things seem to freeze and I wound up just clicking, and one of my fences... disappeared. I've tried all the things I could see from the help and documentation files, like disabling quick hide. I can't seem to get any alternate pages, but maybe that's because I'm running two monitors as well as my laptop, I even tried going from "extend" (to spread across the 3 monitors) to single screen. Nothing I do seems to help. I can only conclude that I somehow deleted the Fence. So... I'm hoping there might be a way to recover a deleted Fence (it doesn't show up in the Recycle bin). Is this possible?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried layout snapshot restore?

If that don't work. Need to know, the missing Fence is Portal Fence or Normal Desktop Fence? If Portal Fence, you should be able to recreate the portal fence again. If its desktop Fence, try looking in your Desktop Folder and see all the icons/shortcut/files still physically there in the Desktop section, using File explorer. Report back.
