Scroll Functionality Issue on Fances Software Using Touchpad

I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue I've encountered while using the Fances software on my laptop. I've been enjoying the features of Fances, but I've run into a problem when trying to scroll using the touchpad on my laptop. It seems that the scroll function only works when I use a mouse, but not with the touchpad.

I find the touchpad to be a convenient way to navigate, and it would greatly improve my user experience if I could get the scroll function to work seamlessly with it. I've tried various troubleshooting steps on my own, such as checking for software updates, adjusting touchpad settings, and exploring Fances' preferences, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve the issue.

I'm hoping that someone in this wonderful community might have encountered a similar problem or knows of a potential solution. If you have any suggestions or insights into how I could make the scroll function work on Fances using my laptop's touchpad, I would be extremely grateful for your guidance.

To provide some context, I'm using win11, and I've made sure that both Fances and my system software are up to date.

Thank you so much in advance for your help. Your expertise and advice mean a lot to me. If you've successfully resolved a similar issue or have any ideas, please share them in the comments below. Let's collaborate and find a solution together.

Looking forward to your responses!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

This is a known issue with one particular touchpad type (Precision).  It was discussed thoroughly here:

While it will not be addressed in the immediate future, some alternative options:

  • Click any file, up down arrow keys
  • Click, page up \ down
  • Click, home \ end
  • Actual mouse, scroll wheel
